Despite its name, it’s technically a type of muskmelon, but it tastes just like a crisp, sweet cucumber with none of the bitterness of traditional varieties.At maturity, the light green, ribbed fruits grow 12–18 inches long (some even longer!) with a tender, edible skin and juicy, refreshing flesh. The vigorous vining plants climb easily on trellises, producing abundant crops all summer long.
