- May–August: Water plants regularly, providing 1–2 inches of water per week, and feed with balanced organic fertilizer every 4–6 weeks. Pinch back the tips of young plants to encourage bushier growth and more pepper production.
- July–September: Harvest peppers at any stage of ripeness – purple, yellow, orange, or red – depending on your preference. Red peppers offer the fullest flavor and heat.
