• Soil Type:  Prefers rich, fertile, consistently moist to wet soil. It thrives in loamy, slightly acidic soil and is an excellent choice for rain gardens, edges of ponds, or low-lying moist areas. It will tolerate average garden soil as long as it does not completely dry out.
